Perfil de proteínas de células con características multipotentes derivadas del ligamento periodontal

Resumen

Las células troncales del ligamento periodontal (CTLP) son células mesenquimales de fácil obtención, elevada proliferación y con potencial multipotente. Asimismo, son consideradas interesantes modelos de estudio para la terapia celular. Los estudios moleculares sugieren que el análisis de las células de ligamento periodontal (CLP) desde un enfoque proteico podría contribuir a una comprensión más precisa y completa de los mecanismos que regulan su capacidad de autorrenovación y diferenciación celular. Por lo que, nuestro objetivo fue analizar el perfil de proteínas de células con características multipotentes derivadas del ligamento periodontal. Para ello las CLP fueron aisladas y caracterizadas por RT-PCR y ensayos de diferenciación celular. Posteriormente se realizó una electroforesis bidimensional (2D-E) con el fin de analizar el perfil proteico de las CLP. Los resultados demostraron que las CLP exhiben características de células mesenquimales multipotentes de origen dental. En relación con la 2D-E, reveló la sobreexpresión de spots de proteínas de 30-50 kDa y pI de 3-7 y una expresión menor de proteínas 20-150 kDa y un valor de pI de 3-10. Esto proporcionar una visión temprana de lo que estaría sucediendo hacia el compromiso celular.
