Modelación Estocástica del Nivel Freático en Pozos de la Ciudad de Mérida

Resumen

La ciudad de Mérida Yucatán está situada a una altura de aproximadamente 9 msnmm; en estas condiciones las variaciones en los niveles de agua subterránea debidos a la respuesta del acuífero durante eventos climatológicos extremos como huracanes se convierten en un elemento de riesgo para la infraestructura urbana, en particular los desarrollos ingenieriles que requieren excavaciones profundas, que contempla la base del piso terminado cercano al manto freático. En este trabajo se analizan las cargas hidráulicas máximas en pozos del área metropolitana de la Ciudad de Mérida, Yucatán, durante un período comprendido entre 1982 y 2014. El análisis se hace mediante la modelación estocástica de eventos extremos. Se estimaron los parámetros de los modelos  de funciones de distribución de probabilidad para valores extremos, y se hicieron pruebas de bondad de ajuste (Kolmogorov-Smirnof y Anderson-Darling). El resultado indica que el modelo que presenta el mejor ajuste es el LogGamma con parámetros  α = 3.5547995 y β = 6.5128622. Con este modelo se realizaron simulaciones para períodos de retorno de 25, 50 y 75 años, obteniendo incrementos en la carga hidráulica de 3.13 m, 3.63 m y 3.94 m respectivamente. Lo anterior pone de manifiesto el riesgo que corre, por las posibles inundaciones, la infraestructura urbana subterránea.
